Nearly half of IUSM graduates will enter primary care residency programs this year. On Match Day, March 18, 251 fourth-year students learned which residency programs they would enter in June. Of the forty-eight percent who will enter internal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, combined internal medicine-pediatrics and obstetrics/gynecology, nearly twenty percent will enter family medicine residencies. This number is much higher than the national average of fifteen percent. To check for the names of students who are coming to your program, please visit our Website.
