Thirty Indiana University medical faculty listed in Americas
Top Doctors
INDIANAPOLIS - Thirty faculty physicians at the Indiana University School
of Medicine have been listed in the 2002 issue of Americas Top Doctors.
They are among 35 Indiana physicians recognized by their peers as top
physicians in their fields. They are affiliated with Indiana University
Hospital, Methodist Hospital and Riley Hospital for Children at Clarian
Health Partners, Wishard Health Services and Richard Roudebush VA Medical
Center.
The physicians are selected through nominations by and surveys of physicians
throughout the country. Americas Top Doctors lists only on the top
one percent of specialists and sub-specialists in the United States.
There are thousands of excellent physicians in Indiana, many of
whom have trained with these physicians, says D. Craig Brater, M.D.,
dean of the IU School of Medicine. Along with their colleagues and
the nearly 2,000 IU School of Medicine volunteer faculty in Indiana, they
serve all Hoosiers through their patient care, research and participation
in medical education.
Americas Top Doctors, published by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd.,
is a guide to finding the nationals top specialists and is a trusted
source for health care choices.
